Welcome to my blog!

Hello everyone! Welcome to my first attempt at blogging :-)

If you don't already know I have a page on Facebook called 'Jewellery by MK' - as Facebook is getting stricter on competitions / giveaways I thought I would set this blog up alongside it!

I will also use this blog to add occasional tips / guides for any new jewellery makers out there - everything I learnt was online through jewellery making sites and blogs!

As this is my first post I am going to do a mini giveaway - you have until next weekend to describe what your favourite piece of my jewellery is and why! I will choose the best comment and you will win a limited edition piece of jewellery ;-) x

    hi mary-kate. love your blog you will have to give me tips as i think your 1st attempt is much better then mine.LOL
    i love all your jewellery so it has taken me a while to choice,the lovely bracelet with the ribbon lovingly woven between the links with pretty silver flowers and gorgeous green toned glass beads.i love it because it is so unique and because i got a pretty top in dark green from my mum for my christmas and i think it would really look lovely with it.

    My favourite is the piece pictured above Mary Kate! The big round bead is like a water bubble in the ocean, and the gold stripes on the other beads are like a golden sunset going down over the sea - FABUOLOUS!! - Liz McFern

    Hi MK, my favourite piece of your jewellery is the strawberry charm bracelet you've put the picture up of. My favourite fruit is strawberries and I'd have never thought to put strawberries onto a bracelet but it looks totally FAB!!! Very Very cute :D ~ Kim Reed

    My favourite piece so far is my bag charm as it is soooo pretty and well it has my name on it ;-)although I do have it on my keys atm and it helps me find them so much easier. Excellent work and beautiful designs.
